Ultimately, it all comes down to what you think is unmissable. For you, it could be getting amongst the madness of Shibuya Crossing, feasting on sushi at the top of a skyscraper, taking in the views from the top of the Tokyo Skytree or paying your respects at Senso-ji. Or, you could let your host share with you what they think is unmissable about their city - you won’t get that from a guidebook! Those things are heavy anyway, you’re better off without. The goal here is to absorb the electric energy of Tokyo - a city constantly reaching into the future, at the same time as clinging to its ancient past. Be dazzled by sleek, immense skyscrapers, and charmed by low slung wooden buildings - we can’t get enough of Tokyo’s contrasts. You’re never further than 50 metres away from your nearest noodle outlet or sushi den. All you have to do is tell us what you’re into, and we’ll do our best to make it happen. Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host. Your host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do.
