My romantic Lerici - A musical exploration in a colourful seafaring village with small beaches, picturesque alleys and houses and a mighty castle.

The most important and charming town on the Gulf of Poets is just a few kilometres from the La Spezia cruise terminal and, with its surrounding villages of Tellaro, Montemarello and others, is one of the most beautiful places in Liguria. It is also said to be the secret “5 terre”.

Meet Clemens, the singer and songwriter of the evergreen “Katharine, Katharine”, known from TV. At the most beautiful stops on the walk, he will tell you the Legends of the place.

To the sound of his guitar and Italian-inspired songs, he shows his guests a unique seafaring town. Get to know Lerici through the eyes of the poets. Walk to the fishing harbour, to the castle, through the alleys of the old town, to the baroque churches adorned with works of art or through olive groves to the most beautiful viewpoints.
There is plenty of time for stops, conversations and the typical Italian bar visits. If you wish, we will stop at one of the bathing beaches… or at the best gelateria in town with homemade ice cream. During a visit to the tower of a private villa, photos are taken against the backdrop of a breathtaking view over the entire town and the sea.

Clemens Maria Haas studied classical music in Paris and Hamburg. He played with Joe Cocker, Ray Charles, Westernhagen and many others. The musician has lived in Lerici on the “Gulf of Poets” for years. TV and Radiostations also reported on it. Clemens' tour of his Lerici is very personal and peppered with anecdotes and reports about his own life in Italy. So look forward to a musical excursion in a class of its own with mood, rock, pop, traditional, classical music and of course Italian sounds.

Meeting point at one of the main beaches of Lerici - walk along the promenade into the centre of Lerici with the Piazza Garibaldi and the church of San Rocco - short stop at an ice cream parlour or bar - visit of the castle (those who don't want to climb so high can enjoy the square under the castle with a wonderful panoramic view) - Continue to a hidden beach where a bathing break is possible - through the old town with its alleys and stairs and the typical Ligurian coloured houses we go down to the lower town. We walk through the park to the other side of the town.

Here in the romantic Art Nouveau villa district, the host invites you to a private villa for a photo session on the tower. Of course, there will also be romantic guitar sounds and singing.

Finally, it's back to the starting point or to the beach.
