This extraordinary desert adventure begins with a 3-hour journey to the north of Coahuila, starting at 7:00 am.
Upon reaching Cuatrociénegas, the expedition kicks off with a visit to the “Blue Pond,” a living ecosystem with turquoise waters, stromatolites, and attractions like the “Poza de las Tortugas” and “Paseo del Borbollón.”
Next, we'll venture to the Plaster Dunes, encouraging you to immerse yourself fully by exploring barefoot. The photo opportunities here are boundless. Optionally, the tour can extend to the “Rio Mezquites,” where a river with spring water awaits, offering kayaking activities and the chance to swim among turtles. A break for lunch is included.
Before concluding the adventure, a visit to the “Vitali” wine shop awaits, allowing you to take home artisanal wine and regional sweets. Finally, we'll reach the main square of Cuatrociénegas to explore the Parish of San José.
