The trek, typically completed in 4 to 6 days, starts from Phedi or Kande, and the trail takes trekkers through dense rhododendron forests, charming villages, and terraced fields.
As you ascend, the landscape transforms, revealing panoramic vistas of snow-capped peaks and alpine meadows. One of the highlights is reaching the High Camp, where trekkers can witness stunning sunrise and sunset views over the Himalayas. The trek also leads to the Mardi Himal Base Camp, providing an up-close look at the magnificent Mardi Himal and its surrounding peaks.
The route is known for its tranquility and the absence of large crowds, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a more peaceful trekking experience. Basic teahouses and lodges along the trail offer accommodation, and local communities welcome trekkers with warm hospitality. The Mardi Himal Trek is suitable for adventurers of various fitness levels, making it an accessible option for those with limited trekking experience.
This off-the-beaten-path trek offers a unique opportunity to explore the beauty of the Annapurna region while enjoying a sense of seclusion amidst nature's grandeur.
