What you can expect

You'll be picked up from your hotel or airport by our tour guide for a full day tour of East Luxor. First, you'll visit the Luxor Temple, a large ancient Egyptian temple complex on the east bank of the Nile River, built around 1400 BCE. Next, you'll see the Karnak Temple Complex, a mix of decayed temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings constructed between 2000-1700 BC and the Ptolemaic period. Lunch at an Egyptian restaurant is included.

Afterwards, you'll visit the Valley of the Kings, where rock-cut tombs were excavated for pharaohs and nobles of the New Kingdom. Then, you'll see the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, built for the Eighteenth Dynasty pharaoh Hatshepsut in 1458 BC, and the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Admission tickets are included for all visits. You'll then be driven back to your hotel.
