Langtang Valley Trekking is a wonderful trek in the Langtang region that covers the culturally significant villages of the Tamang ethnic communities. Surrounded by the Langtang National Park, the trail goes through the lush rhododendron forest that connects the moderate trip with the spiritual fascination of the Tibetan Buddhists.

Trek to the Langtang valley brings you closer to the Tibetan border. It begins from Syaphrubesi and enjoying the rural countryside scenery. Two villages on the route of the Langtang valley trek are considered to be the heart of the cultural exploration- the Langtang village and Kyanjin. The Langtang village is a densely populated ethnic village preserving local culture and traditions. Tamang hospitality can be experienced there. Kyanjn is a spectacular spiritual center for the Tibetan Buddhists. The monastery marks the prosperity of culture and religiousity. Langtang valley trekking is equally remarkable to explore the Himalayan views as Langtang Lirung (7246m), Gang Chhenpo (6388m), Naya Kangri (5864m) and the surrounding peaks. Hiking to Langsisha Ri or Tserku Ri is the side trip from the Kyanjin Gompa. It seems to be walking above the mountain white peaks. This easily accessible destination of the Langtang valley from Kathmandu includes about a week walking itinerary that retraces to Syaphrubesi and drive back to Kathmandu.
