Activity itinerary

Lamar Valley
  • 2h 40m
The Lamar Valley is a wildlife enthusiast’s dream! It is often called America's Serengeti for its large and easy-to-see populations of mammals making it a fantastic hunting ground for predators like bears and wolves. Some of its most famous inhabitants include the Junction and Lamar Canyon wolf packs.
Undine Falls
  • 20m
Undine Falls: Geologist Arnold Hague named it Undine after the wise, female water goddess from German mythology who was said to live around waterfalls and who could gain souls by marrying mortal men. Sound familiar? Think Little Mermaid.
Mammoth Hot Springs
  • 1h
Mammoth Hot Springs is an absolute must-see, as the travertine terraces are different than any other thermal features you will see in the park. The travertine formations grow on top of the soft limestone, making it look like an inside-out cave.
Bozeman
  • 3h
Important Note- The remaining 3 hours will be allotted for the travel time from pick up until drop off.
Yellowstone National Park
  • 30m
The Yellowstone River originates SW of Yellowstone Lake near the Continental Divide. After pouring out of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone creating giant waterfalls, it flows north through the Paradise Valley - eventually flowing into the Missouri River. This river provides habitats for many of the flora and fauna that call the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem home.
Slough Creek
  • 30m
Slough Creek is a tributary of the Lamar River and originates in the Absaroka Range. The watershed supports a variety of flora and fauna. Our wildlife safari makes multiple stops in the Slough Creek area to track and spot wildlife. Your guide will educate you on its historical or geological significance.
Albright Visitor Center and Museum
  • 30m
During a Yellowstone winter tour, the Albright Visitor Center at Mammoth Hot Springs offers warmth and insight. Explore exhibits on the park’s history, geology, and wildlife, or get trail tips from rangers. Surrounded by snowy landscapes and steaming terraces, it’s a perfect stop for education and awe amidst Yellowstone’s winter magic.
Roosevelt Arch
  • 15m
During a winter tour of Yellowstone, the iconic Roosevelt Arch at the park's north entrance provides a striking and historic stop. Framed by snowy peaks, the towering arch, inscribed with “For the Benefit and Enjoyment of the People,” offers breathtaking views and a perfect photo opportunity amid the serene winter landscape.
