Know before you book

  • If you are unable to follow the instructions of the instructor or are unable to communicate with the instructor, we may refuse your participation even on the day of the event.
  • Pay the Tokashiki Village Environmental Cooperation Tax of 100JPY by cash per person (15 YO and above) at reception.
  • Tours require a minimum of 10 adult participants and may be canceled as late as the day before. (all options included)
  • Bad weather or sea conditions may alter plans, including landing on Tokashiki Island.
  • Participation restrictions apply for health conditions, eg : circulatory/respiratory diseases, high blood pressure, epilepsy, diabetes, liver disorders, hangovers, or alcohol consumption and pregnacy. Participation may also be denied based on health status on the day.
  • Ages under 13 and over 60 cannot do diving.
  • Time and venue may change or be canceled due to weather or sea conditions. Refunds or rescheduling offered if canceled due to weather.
  • Event timing may adjust (Time lbased on whale locations, or emmergency situations Winter seas can be rough; boarding for infants and elderly may be restricted.
  • We will contact you to ask ages gender, age, height, weight, and shoe size.

What you can expect

Discover Tokashiki Island’s pristine beaches and vibrant marine life with an unforgettable adventure that combines relaxation and exploration. Experience Okinawa’s natural beauty both above and below the water!

Start your journey from Miegusuku Port in Naha with a scenic boat ride to Tokashiki Island, a gem among Okinawa’s destinations. Upon arrival, you’ll have 2 hours to immerse yourself in the breathtaking surroundings of Aharen Beach. During this time, you will have 1 hour for the explanation, preparation and discovers diving in the Kerama blue sea.

After your beach visit, shift for an exciting whale-watching tour. Spend up to 2 hours searching for, observing (max 1 hour) these majestic humpback whales as they migrate through Okinawa’s waters and go back to Naha port. Led by knowledgeable local guides, this adventure offers an unparalleled chance to witness the grace and power of these incredible creatures up close.

*Please note that in the unlikely event that you do not spot a whale, we will not be able to refund your money or re-board you. (Previous year encounter rate 90/100)
