Explore the historic western shore of magnificent Lake Tahoe on this 2 1/2 hour guided tour.  Paddle out on crystal clear, snow-fed water while hearing colorful stories of the west shore's most prominent landmarks and important personalities.  This is the perfect tour for families and visitors looking to learn more about this treasured landscape on an easy paddle near Tahoe City.  
Please note the cost of the tour is $75.00 per person with a 2 person minimum - if selecting the “double” option it will automatically fill spots for 4 people. If your party has only 2 people chose “single” kayak tour and if you prefer a tandem/2 seater kayak just call the shop after booking and we will adjust the boat type for you.

  • Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date

Activity itinerary

Leave Tahoe City at 9:00 am and glide across water so clear that you can see the bottom. Kayak past the historic homes and beautiful scenery of the West Shore. Our knowledgeable guides will tell you stories about Lake Tahoe and some of the West Shore’s landmarks as you paddle. The tour will return to Tahoe City around 11:45am.
