The participants will learn under the mentor Jaswant Kumar Meenakar, an artist whose family has been practicing this form for more than 450 yrs. The artist is passionate about preserving and spreading this handmade art which is his family legacy. Jaswant Ji is a National Merit Award recipient.

While giving special and personalized attention to everyone, he makes sure that no one misses out on any information or learnings. The workshop is held at his home/studio only, so the participants also get to see the maestro's personal exhibits.

Meenakari is normally done by creating a design on brass, copper, silver, and gold with the help of simple tools. The engraved design on the metal is filled with colored enamels to have a final vibrant output.

The art piece created at the end of the workshop can be taken back as a souvenir.

The workshop duration is 3-3.5 hours. All the raw materials and tools required to make the Meenakari silver pendant is provided at the workshop. We share the meeting point once you book the experience. Our team member is also there to assist you.
