Journey down the Snake River with stunning canyon scenery, calm stretches, and fun rapids, including the two biggest waves on the river, Big Kahuna and Lunch Counter. Your guide will teach you how to sit, paddle, and stroke as you laugh your way downstream.
This 8-mile whitewater trip through the Snake River Canyon provides a fun-filled day for people of all ages. All types of rafters can ride in the standard boat which seats anywhere from 10-16 people. Sit in front and take on the waves head-on, or move to the back and enjoy the canyon scenery while staying dry. This is a great raft for young children. Children are always given the most secure spot in the raft and are flanked on each side with adult paddlers.
Throughout most of the summer, whitewater of moderate intensity provides plenty of bounce and splash for families with children as young as 6, and no upper age limit.
With a round trip time of about 4 hours, there are numerous departures from Jackson Hole throughout the day in paddle rafts which provide a participatory involvement for everyone aboard the raft.
