Overview

The Park at Ocean Ranch offers you an amazing and very fun horseback ride in the rainforest to a 180 foot waterfall called “El Encanto”. Along the way you will traverse a river valley, see white faced monkeys, toucans and macaws in their natural habitat while enjoying the cool shade of the jungle. Giant trees and beautiful tropical foliage adorn the landscape all the way to the waterfall in this Jurassic Park like setting. Our horses are the best well cared for animals available for public tours!

Transportation to and from Esterillos Este or Oeste can be quoted and can be up to an additional $60. Please note that tour times and transportation times will be scheduled by Ocean Ranch Park in accordance with availability for your tour date.

Activity itinerary

You will be picked up at your hotel for a short ride to Ocean Ranch Park. You are greeted by professional guides who saddle you up on a Costa Rican stepping horse for the 1.5 hour ride through the jungle and river to the 180 foot waterfall called "El Encanto". Along the way you will see white faced monkeys, toucan and macaw in their natural habitat while enjoying the cool shade of the jungle. Giant trees and beautiful flowers adorne the landscape all the way to the Rancho where you can kick off your shoes and have a slice of pineapple and a cool drink while enjoying the Jurassic Park like setting.
