It starts from the center of Levanto and you go up following the coast towards the Castle, after passing it you proceed climbing quite quickly among typical crops and Mediterranean scrub with a beautiful panorama of the magnificent sea of the bay. Once you reach the road, continue to the right and walk towards Punta Mesco. Here you take the path and cross places of incomparable beauty between Mediterranean scrub and cliffs overlooking the sea, once you reach a crossroads you can continue reaching the ruins of the Monastery of Sant'Antonio and the military lantern or go down to the right towards the center of Monterosso.
Arriving in Monterosso we admire the Statue of the Giant, a 14 meter high Neptune which is located a stone's throw from Fegina beach. A perfect location for a statue representing the god of the sea, since it literally stands overlooking the water.
Climbing along a rock promontory, it was in fact formerly part of the luxurious Villa Pastine and constituted its main ornamental motif. In addition to the trident, the deity held a gigantic shell on his head, which constituted the terrace.
