Meet the two most representative cities of the state of Jalisco. Be by their gastronomy, culture, handicrafts, and architecture that you will uniquely enjoy on this tour.
You will start with the panoramic tour visiting the roundabout of La Minerva, the representative guardian of the city erected in the 50’s. Then, you will continue towards the arches of the old entrance to Guadalajara, which marked the start of the Guadalajara-Morelia highway. These are 20-meter-high neoclassical arches where you will be able to appreciate the colors of the coat of arms of the state of Jalisco. Then, you will go to Chapultepec Avenue, the cultural corridor where we can appreciate one of the liveliest areas of Guadalajara, continuing our journey of old houses by Libertad Street where you can travel towards the end of 1,800’s and live the architecture of the most beautiful time of Guadalajara.
The panoramic tour continues with the temple of the Expiatorio, a building of Gothic architecture in the city. It also knows the Cross of Squares of the Historical Center of Guadalajara, and we will go to the Metropolitan Cathedral. Discover the murals of the Government Palace created by José Clemente Orozco. And to finish up in Guadalajara, you will walk through Liberation Square, stopping outside the Degollado Theater, the headquarters of the mariachi galas held in the city every September.
Once the guided tour in the city of Guadalajara is over, you will be transferred to Tlaquepaque, and during your stay in this beautiful town, you must make the most of your experience by tasting its food (on your own) in one of the restaurants of the Independencia walker. Finally, you will visit the store of typical sweets of Guadalajara.
By the end of the tour, you will be dropped-off at one of these different options in Guadalajara: Expo zone, Minerva roundabout zone or Downtown zone.
