Spend an afternoon at the highest vantage point in Central Switzerland on a tour that surrounds you with the spectacle of the Alps. This journey by road, cable car, and gondola brings you to the high mountain glaciers of Titlis, where you can admire some of Europe's greatest peaks around you.
After a drive from Lucerne to the resort town of Engelberg, board the aerial cableway for a 45-minute ride that takes you from the green valley below into high alpine glaciers. The revolving Rotair gondola gives you a spectacular view of the perpetual snow and ice as you ride up to the 10,000-foot (3,000-m) summit overlooking the Swiss Alps.
During your stay on the mountain, you can visit the Ice Grotto and, weather permitting, ride the modern Ice Flyer chairlift for some incredible views into the glacial crevasses and ice falls. Cross the Titlis Cliff Walk, Europe's highest suspension bridge, before you start your ride back to Lucerne.
