We will meet at the indicated station to take a one-hour train to the city of Heidelberg.
Once we arrive, we will walk from the station to Bismarkplatz, the city's main square, where this tour of the beautiful cobblestone streets and half-timbered houses of the old town will begin.
We will walk among the churches and palaces of Heidelberg, and see its university, the oldest in Germany. Next we will go to the Carlos Teodoro Bridge to observe the oldest footbridge in the city, the imposing Neckar River and the unique monkey statue. No wonder this place inspired poets like Friedrich Hölderlin!
We finish the guided tour at the bottom of Heidelberg Castle. You will have an hour and a half of free time to go up to the castle or have lunch on your own.
After free time we will meet to go by bus to the Heidelberg train station to arrive in Frankfurt at approximately 5:15 p.m.
