At the indicated time we will meet at the Cologne Central Station, where we will take a train to Düsseldorf. In just 45 minutes we will reach our destination!
Once there, we will go to Königsallee, where we will see the most pompous boulevard in the metropolis. Luxury shops and an extensive canal await us! We will continue the visit on the banks of the Rhine to see three of the most relevant points: Marktplatz, the Town Hall building and the Haus des Karnevals. Regarding the latter, we will reveal a detail related to the Düsseldorf Carnival.
On the way to the old town or Altstadt, we will see Burgplatz and Ratinger Straße, one of the busiest points of the city. We will also see the church of Sankt Lambertus. Did you know that its façade and leaning tower have become an emblem of Düsseldorf?
Finally, we will walk through the Hofgarten, the green lung of the German city and one of the favorite places of locals. In addition, we will admire the majestic building of the Düsseldorf Opera House and the K20 Museum, which houses works by Picasso.
After this guided tour of Düsseldorf, you will have an hour and a half of free time to continue exploring the city. Finally, we will return to the Central Station to take the return train.
After five hours of excursion, we will be back in Cologne.
