On day 2 we travel from Mthatha to East London. The area between Mthatha and East London is located in the Eastern Cape province, and it is known for its beautiful scenery and rich cultural heritage. Nelson Mandela Museum - located in Mthatha, the museum celebrates the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela. 3. Day 3: East London to Port Elizabeth via Addo National Park

Addo Elephant National Park

Day 3 is a day of wildlife sightseeing. From East London we drive straight to Addo National Park for a game drive. Addo Elephant Park is a national park located in the Eastern Cape region of South Africa. It was established in 1931 to protect the last remaining 11 elephants in the area, and has since grown to be one of the largest national parks in South Africa, covering an area of over 1,600 square kilometers. As its name suggests, Addo Elephant Park is known for its large population of elephants, which now number over 600. The park is also home to a wide variety of other wildlife, including lions, leopards, buffalo, black rhinos, spotted hyenas, zebras, and many species of antelope. After the game drive we head to Port Elizabeth for some relaxation and this is where we spend the night.
Day 4: Port Elizabeth to Plettenberg Bay & Knysna

The reserve is home to a wide range of animals, including Cape fur seals, dolphins, whales, and various bird species.
Knysna

From Robberg Nature Reserve we proceed further until we reach Knysna. Knysna is situated between lush forests and the beautiful Knysna lagoon, which opens up to the Indian Ocean. Knysna is home to many attractions such as the Knysna Heads, a set of two cliffs that flank the entrance to the lagoon. There are many outdoor activities available in Knysna, such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, and cycling. Knysna is really the centre of the garden route. this is where we spend 2 nights.

Knysna Heads

After breakfast, we take a tour of Knysna We start off with Knysna Heads. Knysna Heads refers to two large cliffs that guard the entrance to the Knysna Lagoon, a popular tourist destination in the Western Cape province of South Africa. These cliffs are located on either side of a narrow channel that connects the lagoon to the Indian Ocean. The eastern head is a publicly accessible nature reserve that offers scenic viewpoints, hiking trails, and picnic areas. The western head is a private nature reserve that is not open to the public. The area around Knysna Heads is known for its rich biodiversity and is home to a variety of bird species, marine life, and vegetation.

A scenic view of the harbor with quite a number of yachts make it a scenery. A good number of restaurants from cafes to great restaurants, one can easily spend 2-3 hours here, you can also book some rides on the lagoon.

We finally head off to Hermanus, the world capital of whale viewing where we spend the night. In Hermanus, you can do a lot of optional activities such as canoeing at the Klenrivier; have fun at the Grotto Beach; Hermanus also has the most comprehensive collection of internationally acclaimed white and red South African wines in the largest wine shop in South Africa found in the Wine Village on the corner of the R43 and R320 en route to N2.

After breakfast, we continue to tour Hermanus further before departing for Cape Town at around 11:00am. We drive via the beautiful coastal route until we reach Betty's Bay. Betty's Bay is the home of the African Penguins. We stop over at Betty's Bay and go to see the African Penguins.
Overstrand

After breakfast, we continue to tour Hermanus further before departing for Cape Town at around 11:00am. We drive via the beautiful coastal route between Hermanus and Gordon’s Bay. We then take the R44 and driving on the edge of the sea past the beaches. Along this route you will encounter dramatic coastlines and beaches, fynbos biosphere, baboons, monkeys, birding and hiking. We will go past The Strand before we finally arrive in Cape Town in the late afternoon for drop offs at the Cape Town international Airport and at the hotels.
