The Fairy Wood is located on the slopes of Mount Basilico and takes its name from a traditional folk tale that tells of this place full of mysteries and legends, inhabited by fairies and supernatural creatures, protagonists of stories not always with a happy ending.

You will meet your private naturalistic guide at the center of Gambarie and you will start your trekking entering the wood, near the fountain and the monumental firs of Tre Aie; you will discover the wild animals that secretly live in this enchanted place.

You will walk along a path full of lush vegetation and along the way you will meet animal and plant species never seen before, which have managed to preserve themselves in the woods; you will also admire the Cascatella Vallescura, a small jump created by the mountain stream.

Before going back to the starting point, you'll do a last little climb that will allow you to reach and visit the high village of Gambarie.
