What you can expect

Start the tour from the village of Nazareth, where Jesus spent his early days. See the significant Christian shrine which is undoubtedly the grotto of the Annunciation, over which the Temple was erected. Also visit Sepphoris National Park - the parental home of Mary, the ruins of the crusader fortress and other archaeological sites. Learn about why because of this, Jesus is called “ha-Notsri,” which means the Nazarene.

Then, visit the Church of Annunciation, sometimes also referred to as the Basilica of the Annunciation. Discover how this modern church was built in 1969 and is the largest Catholic church in the entire Middle East. At the lower level of the church find a grotto, where, according to the presentation, the Virgin Mary was located at the time of the Annunciation. Pay attention to the frescoes that are miraculously preserved in their almost original appearance. Marvel at the unique frescoes, icons, and images of saints, presented to the temple from almost all corners of the world.

After this, drive along the Sea of Galilee, also known as Lake Kinnereth. Witness some of the most important Biblical sites located on the lake shore, including the village of Capernaum. Then, proceed to the Tabgha area, which is the site of the Church of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fish, where, according to Christian tradition, the miracle of the multiplication of bread and fish by Jesus Christ took place.

Next, continue on to the Yardenit baptismal site, located along the Jordan River in the Galilee region of northern Israel. Discover how Jesus was baptized in the waters of the Jordan River, which is why Christians from different parts of the globe want to plunge into this river, and some want to perform the baptismal rite here. The Yardenit complex is a calm backwater at the source of the sacred Jordan River. This place is equipped with everything necessary for the convenience of visitors. There are shower cabins, locker rooms, and footpaths, which are convenient for approaching the water. There you have the opportunity to bathe in the waters of the Jordan River. In addition, on the territory of the complex there are small shops where it is possible to buy souvenirs or cosmetics from Israel, as well as special containers for the water of Jordan.
