Overview

On this tour you will have the opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful places on the island of São Miguel, accompanied by a local guide.
We will travel through the east and northwest of the island, stopping at the most beautiful areas, where you will be dazzled by the enchanting views of Lagoa das Furnas.
You can also enjoy a bath in the Furnas spa, as well as stroll through one of the most beautiful gardens in the Azores.
In this tour lunch is included, we will have lunch in a local restaurant where we will be served the famous Cozido das Furnas, cooked for 6 hours in the heat of the Furnas volcano,
We will see a lot of volcanic activity on this tour, namely fumaroles and calderas.
We will also have the opportunity to taste Vulcanic waters.
We will see Waterfalls and Gardens as well as one of the only tea plantations in Europe.

After our departure from Ponta Delgada we will head towards Furnas passing by the beaches along the path along the sea. Our first stop will be at Miradouro Senhora da Paz in Vila Franca do Campo, where you can enjoy the view over the village and over the islet of Vila Franca do Campo, better known as the Ring of the Princess

After having lunch in a typical restaurant in Furnas where the famous Portuguese stew will be served, cooked slowly in the heat of the volcano we will visit the area of Caldeiras das Furnas where there is volcanic activity, namely the boilers and fumaroles tasting different types of naturally carbonated waters
