SIGNAL ISLAND is the largest true coral cay 244 hectares (603 acres) on the New Caledonia south lagoon with 13,5 hectares (34 acres) surrounding reef, just 30 mn by our water taxi from Noumea Description : 8 AM/9 AM: departure from the PORT BRUNELET GATE E to SIGNAL ISLAND, with the water taxi. This is covered boat. From 8.30/9.30 AM to 04.00 PM: Enjoy white sand beaches and Swim with the turtle. You can also observe colorful marine life along coral reefs, with your equipment and personal instruction from your skipper (if you need we can provided you mask and tuba and Floting noodle). This tour isn’t a snorkeling tour with a professional guide. It’s include water taxi transfer to Signal Island. To be able to appreciate this excursions and to put all the chances on your side to see turtles : you must be experienced swimmer (comfortable in the water, know how to swim long enough).
