After getting picked up from your hotel, drive out to the Mekong Delta, also knowns as the “Rice Bowl of Vietnam” for its plentiful rice fields. Arrive at My Tho and step out to visit the magnificent Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the best-known Buddhist temples in the region. Admire the mix of Vietnamese, Cambodian, and Chinese architecture that make the pagoda so unique.

Next, board a cruise and begin drifting down the delta canals, catching sight of small islands and life on shore as you pass.
