Starting on Estrada Regional no. 103, in Ribeiro Frio, this easy trail, with an estimated duration of 1h30, follows the Levada da Serra do Faial. On the route along Vereda dos Balcões you will have the opportunity to come across Madeira's indigenous and endemic species, which offer different shades of green to the Laurissilva forest. During the walk, pay attention to the tree species of the Lauraceae family and the exotic species that are distributed along the trail's banks.
