What you can expect

Enjoy a full day exploring the Jurassic coastline. Start by heading west, through the Dorset countryside, make your way into Purbeck, the gateway to the Jurassic Coast. It's filled with 17th century English villages of thatch cottages and castles which have been fought over for hundreds of years.

Firstly visit Corfe Castle, rich in 1000 years of history, and tales of betrayal and treachery. Then we head on through to Durdle Door. This is a famous natural arch and beautiful secluded cove – their existence owed to the collision of continents and the birth of the Alps millions of years ago. From here it's a short hop and a skip to Lulworth Cove. Lulworth Cove is world famous for its unique geology and landforms including the Lulworth Crumple and Stair Hole. Thousands of people each year come to enjoy the panoramic views and crystal clear waters on this stretch of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Next, enjoy a leisurely lunch in the Victorian fishing harbour town of Weymouth. Take your time to stroll through its quaint streets, sample the local fare at charming eateries, and relax on the golden sands of its two-mile beach.

After lunch, head over to the Isle of Portland. This explorer's paradise is packed with historical and natural wonders, including three castles and three lighthouses. Discover the unique stories and enjoy the stunning views that make the Isle of Portland a highlight of the Dorset coast.

This tour offers a perfect blend of scenic beauty, historical exploration, and relaxed seaside dining, making for an unforgettable day out.
