Itinerary
We will pick you up at the indicated time at the point in Lima that you have chosen to begin this tour of the province of Huaral. (pick-ups are from miraflores or san isidro)
On the way to our first destination, we will make a stop so you can have breakfast on your own, and then we will continue to the Huando hacienda, a farm famous for its orange groves.
After visiting the hacienda, we will stop at the Velarde winery, where we will taste their exquisite wines and piscos, as well as other liquors made from grapes, apples and honey.
At around 1:00 p.m. we will stop at a country restaurant in Huaral, where you can have lunch on your own and have the opportunity to taste the traditional chancho al palo, a delicious typical dish of the region.
We will continue the tour heading to Chancay, where we will see the exact place where the ship Covadonga sank during the Pacific War. Then we will enter the castle of Chancay, a mid-twentieth century palace transformed into a theme park.
At the castle you can enjoy its cultural activities, before heading back to Lima. We will drop you off at the starting point around 7:00 pm.
