What you can expect

08.00 am: Embark on a private tour starting from your hotel in Kandy to the picturesque Loolkandura Estate. Explore the rich history of tea cultivation and production as you immerse yourself in a fascinating tea session at this historic estate. Experience the First Light at Taylors Hill, the earliest garden of Ceylon Tea, Field No. 07. This excursion takes you through the ruins of James Taylor’s Log Cabin and Cottage, as well as the Well in the middle of Loolkandura Plantation.
10:00 am: Enjoy a picnic refreshment at the viewpoint where Taylor envisioned the potential of Ceylon Tea. Afterward, visit Loolkandura Tea Factory, the only operational orthodox tea factory in Sri Lanka from the Ceylon Era to date. Take a guided tour to learn the authentic story of Ceylon Tea!
12.30 pm: After a fulfilling experience, return to Kandy for a comfortable overnight stay.
