Your 2-day excursion begins with an early pickup from your hotel in Douz. After a full briefing, your adventure starts with an amazing view, changing from lands of green palms to dunes of golden sand. As you head out into the expanse of the desert, you’ll break for lunch at a traditional bedouin restaurant to begin your experience of cultural immersion.

Next, you’ll hop aboard a dune buggy and set out across the dunes on a Sahara safari, keeping your eyes peeled for wildlife like the Arabian gazelle, the adorable fennec fox, or the stately oryx. After a day of thrills, you’ll head to your camp, where you’ll start the evening off with a cup of tea while your dinner is prepared over an open fire. Enjoy a 4-course meal of traditional bedouin specialties under the stars before heading to bed in a luxury tent, complete with a mattress, pillows, and blankets.

Waking up to the stunning desert sunrise, you’ll enjoy some Arabic coffee and breakfast atop the golden dunes. After breakfast, you’ll meet your guide for another trip through the desert aboard buggies, taking in more stunning vistas on your way back to town. Afterwards, you’ll be dropped off back at your hotel in Douz, filled with memories of the one-of-a-kind expanse of the Sahara desert.
