Pick up from your hotel 9:00 am
This tour starts touring the towns of Recuay, Ticapampa and Catac and then we turn east to immerse ourselves in the Cordillera Blanca, then we make a brief stop at the Querococha lagoon (3900 meters above sea level), for about 20 minutes.
Then we ascend to the Cahuish pass and cross to the valley of Callejón de Conchucos, then we start with an endless descent to the city of Chavin, where we can visit the archaeological complex of Chavin among its main attractions (Square Square Plaza, Circular Plaza, The Castle, The Labyrinths and the famous Lanzon) and the museum of Chavin found 1 km from the city. Here we will learn about the different phases of the development of the Great First High Andean Culture in Peru. Then we will enjoy lunch in the same city of Chavin and walk through its streets.
The tour is ending at 7:00 pm approx. in the city of Huaraz.
