What you can expect

Embark on an unforgettable food and wine journey through the heart of Lisbon, Baixa, where you'll experience the rich flavors of Portuguese cuisine. With more than 15 tastings of traditional foods and regional wines, this walking tour is limited to 14 people to guarantee a personalized experience.

Dive into the city's vibrant culinary scene like a local! Start with a refreshing glass of Vinho Verde paired with an iconic codfish cake, and discover the history of Portugal’s famous fortified wine, Port, as you savor it with delicious local cheese. Explore one of Lisbon's most famous tascas (taverns) where you’ll enjoy a typical Bifana (pork sandwich) with a cold draft beer. Treat yourself with some Ginjinha, the beloved cherry liqueur, at a historic bar that was the first to sell it commercially in 1840.

Continue your journey by visiting a true local venue where you’ll taste chouriço, a typical Portuguese bread, and other local delicacies, all paired with a glass of rich red wine. The tour concludes with a traditional Portuguese rice dish, prepared daily with fresh ingredients and expertly paired with wine.
