Day 1: CUSCO – PAUCARTAMBO – PRE INCAS TOMBS – BAMBOO LODGE

Manu National Park
You'll be picked up from your accommodation in Cusco between 4:30 to 5:00 am. The journey begins with an 8-hour drive, stopping first in Huancarani for breakfast, followed by a visit to Paucartambo, a colonial town known for the Virgen del Carmen festival. After a guided tour, you'll visit the ancient Pre-Inca Tombs in Ninamarca. The journey continues to Acjanaco, the entrance to Manu National Park at 4,000 meters, where you'll receive an introduction to the park. From there, you'll descend into the Cloud Forest, where you’ll witness diverse flora and fauna, including exotic birds, monkeys, and potentially even the spectacled bear. After crossing the forest, you'll arrive at Atalaya port and take a 40-minute boat ride along the Alto Madre de Dios River to Paititi Lodge, where you'll spend the night in private rooms with showers and electricity.
Day 2: BAMBOO LODGE – RESERVED ZONE – CASA MATSIGUENKA LODGE

Manu National Park
The day begins early with a visit to the Parrots clay lick, just 20 minutes from Paititi Lodge, where you'll observe parrots and macaws. After breakfast on the boat, you'll continue for 4 hours to the Reserved Zone control point (Limonal), and then travel another 3 hours deeper into the reserve. This day offers a great chance to spot wildlife, including jaguars, caimans, giant turtles, and primates like howler, spider, and squirrel monkeys. In the afternoon, you’ll arrive at Casa Matsiguenka, a rustic lodge built by the Matsiguenka tribe, who have shifted from hunting to conservation through sustainable tourism. After dinner, you'll embark on a night walk to explore the jungle’s nocturnal wildlife, including tarantulas, boas, scorpions, and frogs, before returning to the lodge for the night.
Day 3: CASA MATSIGUENKA LODGE – SALVADOR LAKE – OTORONGO LAKE

Manu National Park
We begin the day with the sound of howler monkeys before heading to Cocha Salvador to observe giant river otters from a catamaran. Along the way, you’ll see giant turtles, anacondas, caimans, monkeys, and a variety of birds like herons and toucans. Your guide will provide detailed explanations. After returning to the lodge for a delicious lunch, you’ll continue to explore the Manu Reserve, walking to Otorongo Lake where you’ll climb a 30-meter tower for wildlife viewing, including otters, monkeys, and caimans. After dinner, a night walk offers more chances to spot nocturnal creatures like wild boars, bats, and giant insects. After this night walking we go back our lodge to have a nice dream.
Day 4: CASA MATSIGUENKA LODGE – DORADO LODGE

Manu National Park
We have to leave the Casa Matsiguenka Lodge, to have another opportunity to see the hidden Jaguar on the way back, also to try to see big mamals like kapibaras, pecaries and big aligators and caimans. This day we will travel by boat up river for about 5 hours, we will have lunch in our boat but along the river, we will appreciate many kind of animals when we get out the reserved zone of Manu, we will arrive at a place called Aguas Calientes, where you can enjoy a relaxing and natural hot spring bath then we continue until to get our next lodge we will get to our Dorado Lodge around 4:00 pm. We will have enough time to installing us and to go to swimming in the Madre de Dios River, after enjoying the river, we return to our lodge for dinner. By the evening if we have a little energy left, we can do another night walking in order to observe the biggest mamals in the amazon rain forest (the Tapir) also if we are lucky we can observe wild boars, pecaries, coaties, armadillos, etc.
Day 5: DORADO LODGE – ATALAYA PORT – CUSCO

Manu National Park
This is the saddest day of the whole trip because it is the day when we will leave the jungle to enter again the Peruvian Andes until arriving at Cusco. After our breakfast we have to take our boat for about 3 hours until to get Atalaya Port where our pirvate van will be waiting for us to go back Cusco, along the route we will do a stop in an animal rescue called Dos Loritos, where we will have a direct contact with some animals of the forest that were rescued by this center and later they are returned to the nature, we will have in our arms some monkey, boars, kapibaras and an amazon tapir, people in charge of this center they are going to explain us about the mision of this Animal Rescue Center. After this visit, we continue toward Cusco where we will arrive around 8:00 pm, your guide will take care to leave you in your hotel or next to this.
