Join Fotini and Christo, in their kitchen for a private cooking class in Athens - this is not a formal cooking class, but one that feels like you're cooking with friends. You will learn to cook simple, authentic Greek recipes in a 1- 1.5 hour class. A few dishes that are from the islands will be cooked by Christo, a few by Fotini and a few dishes will be cooked in advance. You will be making 2 dishes together, and your class will be a mix of a demonstration and a hands-on experience. First, you will help Fotini and Christo chop all the ingredients and then they will show you how the dishes are prepared. Christo will teach you to make two traditional Greek dishes - trachanas soup or soutzoukakia or hilopittes (greek pasta) with village sausage and feta cheese or eggplants in the oven (Menu varies depending on the season). Later Fotini will teach you to maidanosalata and papoudia salad - a portion or the whole of the sweet dish will be prepared in advance as it needs long hour preparation.
