The beauty of an overnight trek to Adam's Peak, leading through the pristine wilderness of the Peak Wilderness sanctuary, is discovered. Nestled amidst lush evergreen forests at the reserve's periphery, a captivating experience is offered by this trek, with a truly awe-inspiring sunrise.

The beauty of the tropical rainforest surrounding the Sri Paada (Adam's Peak) Mountain is discovered on this overnight trekking tour. The third-largest sanctuary in the country, Peak Wilderness Sanctuary, is explored as Sri Lanka's second-largest peak is hiked up.

The day is started with a pickup and transfer to Nallathanniya trailhead in an air-conditioned vehicle. and then the ascent through the forested mountainside is begun.

The fitness is challenged as the climb up the thousands of steps built in cement or rough stones, called “Mahagiridambe” (meaning the great boulder or rock), is undertaken. Considered a sacred pilgrimage, the climb will be worth the effort when the peak is reached, and the view is savored with some refreshments.

The next morning is begun by waking up and reveling in a stunning sunrise on the top of Adam's Peak before starting the climb down the mountain via the Murray Estate route.
