This trip will take us to experience the amazing richness of the cultural and natural diversity of the South Caribbean of Costa Rica, approaching the Bribri indigenous territory and the communities of African descent of Cahuita and Puerto Viejo.

The gastronomy, traditions, music and all the vibrant cultural expressions merge with the exquisite nature of a region that embraces the song of the sea, sacred rivers and ancient jungles.

And it’s much more than a joy ride! It is a space for intercultural encounter and learning. We will share a convivial with people from the Bribri community and with this trip we will support the reconstruction of the Usure, the ceremonial and cultural meeting house located in Amubri, on the property of the family of the Awá (shaman) Justo Avelino Torres Layan.
