What you can expect

Start your day by getting to know Chongqing with a private tour that shows you thousands of years of history and helps you get to know the lay of the land. You get some incredible views of the “mountain city” and explore a huge collection of relics from the early days of Chinese civilization.

The tour begins as your guide shows you from your hotel to Eling Park, located on a narrow hill near the heart of the city. Originally built in 1909 as a private garden, the park offers a grand view of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers, and a stroll through the urban greenway lets you see a host of unique plant species.

Next, head to the Chongqing Museum of Natural History, where more than 40 exhibiting halls hold 100,000 pieces of paintings, pottery, bronzeware, and other relics that span 3,000 years of history. Take some time to admire the antiquities before you head back to your hotel.
