Day 1: Head to high tea country to walk the tea trail for five hours. View panoramas of the tea plantations. Join the local women who pick tea leaves for half an hour. Go to the house of one of the women you picked tea with for a cup of tea. Have a fresh lunch at the tea plantation.
Day 2: Journey through a pine, eucalyptus, and rain forest. Take in panoramic views of the tea plantation. Visit a remote tea estate where those who work on the plantation live. Meet the family and children of the workers. Pass through a railway tunnel and eat a delicious picnic where there are panoramic views.
Day 3:
After breakfast in the lodge, start hiking to the tallest waterfall in Sir Lanka, Babarakanda falls. Admire panoramic vies of tea plantations, mountains, and villages. Stop by a village school to meet the children. Pick some more tea, before heading to the natural zig-zag trail called the Devil’s Staircase.
