Be met at either your apartment in Baku, the airport or your hotel lobby. Then, you will proceed with your tour in a vehicle tailor-made to comfortably transport 4 persons. For a group of 5 to 8, you will use the Mercedes Vito minivan. The cars are spacious, impeccably clean and powered by a strong air-conditioner.
Once the sun goes down, that when the city of Baku truly dazzles. Baku is in the midst of a rather extensive and expensive beautification process. While a current visitor to town is likely to see fenced off parks and caravansaries and such as part of the project, the night lighting will help one forget it. The majority of historical buildings in the city center are targeted with upward flood lights.
Normally, one might think something like that is a little tacky, if not completely tasteless but for Baku, it works. Everything from Maiden's Tower to the old city walls to museums to government buildings all have the electric lightning. Stop at Highland Park, Flame Towers. Walk around the park and take superb night photos of Baku. Then, drive through the city and stop over at Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center. Your last stop will be Yanardag (burning mountain). The city is just an amazing thing to explore when it's dark.
