We begin our day with an immersive experience and visit to one of the most prestigious vineyards of the Châteauneuf du Pape region with a history dating back to the 17th Century and the late 19th century played an important part in the creation of the first AOC (Appellation d'Origin Controlée) and introducing you to the iconic wines of the region where tradition is enhanced by modernism & excellence - wine tasting too
After a short break for lunch in a nearby village (not included) a short drive to Avignon which for over 100 years of the early 1300s was centre of the Catholic world. The skyline a magnificent urban landscape, overlooks the city, river Rhône, Rocher des Doms presenting an exceptional set of monuments that includes the Saint Bénezet Bridge - the famous Pont d’Avignon, the Ramparts, Petit Palais, Cathedral & walls of the Popes’ Palace flanked by four mighty towers. Start with a visit to the Palais, the beautiful gardens and discover the town.
