Know before you book

  • Roundtrip transportation is available from most centrally located Buzios hotels. Please arrange pickup from your hotel or a nearby location when you call to confirm your reservation.
  • Please be ready and waiting in your hotel lobby 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time.
  • When the boat trip is canceled due to weather conditions, it will be subsisted for free time, with the same duration, on a beach in Arraial do Cabo. There is no refund of the tour.
  • In case of rain it will not be comfortable to stay on the beach, the time on the beach will be automatically replaced by a land city tour. There is no refund of the tour.
  • Arriving at the pier, as this is an environmental reserve area and the boarding order is determined by the local authorities, there may be a waiting time until the boarding is released. Our guide will be organizing this moment.

What you can expect

We departure from hotels in Búzios to travel towards the cities of Cabo Frio and Arraial do Cabo, which are, respectively, 25 km and 38 km away from Búzios.

In Arraial do Cabo we will go on a boat ride to the main tourist attractions: Praia do Forno, Ponta do Atalaia, Pedra da Tartaruga, Boqueirão, Blue Grotto, Grotto of Nossa Senhora da Conceição and Ilha do Farol. On the boat you will be served mineral water and soda. If the weather conditions allow us, we will go to the famous Blue Grotto to visit Monkey Stone

The boat ride is 3 hours long, and has two stops (one hour each) on different beaches

Back on land, we continue to the town of Cabo Frio. Here we will have free time to enjoy a buffet lunch (drinks and desserts not included). Then, we will visit the historic center, the Praia do Forte and São Mateus Fort.
