Antelope Canyon X with Lunch
Antelope Canyon X is located southeast of Lower Antelope canyon by the gateway town of Page, AZ. This part of the canyon is chiseled out by millions of years’ worth of flood erosion and impactful winds on its sandstone, enough to sculpt out the iconic “X” shape that aptly named the canyon. Canyon X is a relatively new scenic tour and the lesser known cousin of Upper/Lower Antelope Canyon. Which results in fewer visitors by comparison to the other two.
Canyon X is a nice mixture of the characteristics of both Upper and Lower canyon, with the Upper’s feature of pillars of light and the Lower’s steepness. Canyon X is also deeper than the other two by comparison, and with it brings ample photo opportunities. It truly is a great vacation spot for photography as well as in-depth exploration of a slot canyon. In order to access the entrance, the local Navajo guide will drive clients with a jeep there as well as back to the customer booth when the tour concludes. So get ready to be amazed by what Canyon X has to offer!

Lower Antelope Canyon with Lunch
Upon arriving at Lower Antelope Canyon, meet your Navajo guide and take the short walk to the canyon’s entrance. Descend the safe, railing-lined stairs to the floor of Lower Antelope Canyon and set off on a journey to the upper end of this magnificent formation. Shafts of light often break through the narrow cracks above you as shadows dance on the walls, creating an infinitely varied landscape that’s perfect for photos.

Upper Antelope Canyon with Lunch
Upper Antelope Slot Canyon offers amazing photo opportunities of sculpted sandstone walls through a walkable corridor at the bottom of the canyon floor. It was formed by flash flood waters that rushed into the cracks of the Navajo sandstone along with the power of wind erosion over millions of years. The narrow opening at the top allows daylight to pierce through and reflect off the various formations and surfaces of the canyon walls. This forms a myriad of photogenic angles. It is precisely this phenomenon that made this particular area a popular location for photographers and tourists alike.
