Every neighborhood in Tokyo has its own distinct flavor, so maybe try zoom in on one of these microcosms and absorb its unique sights and sounds - it’s not every day you see cosplayers strolling around in wacky Fluro outfits. Maybe you’d like to discover the highlights of the neighborhood you’re staying in, or simply stroll through the lantern-lined lanes of Tokyo’s older districts. This city will overdose your senses; where ancient culture meets a love of all things new! Action-lovers might be keen to catch a sumo match with a host that can explain the rules to you, or alternatively, get sky (or around 40 floors) high and enjoy sushi with a view. Trust us on this, it’s a great way to get an overview of Tokyo’s sheer scale (just don’t look down). Your host would love to share with you their favorite places, but they also can’t wait to hear what you’ve been dreaming of doing. Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded local host. Your Local Host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do.
