We depart from the Knysna Experience restaurant on Thesen Island. Sushi, fresh oysters and drinks can be arranged from the restaurant before you depart.

We cruise to the popular Knysna Heads, a pair of sandstone cliffs which separate the Knysna Lagoon from the rest of the Indian Ocean. In the past, they were a popular resting place for sea men. Today, they are a must-see landmark along the Garden Route. When at the Heads, you will be spoilt to breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean and the surrounding majestic mountains. The Knysna Heads are divided into Eastern and Western parts. The Eastern Head is accessible by car and offers access to beaches, beautiful viewpoints and quant cafés. The Western Head, however, is only accessible by boat.
