Victoria Market - The Victoria Street Market has a variety of African traditional jewelry, clothing, art and décor for sale. They also have a large variety of Indian spices. The Victoria Street Market is another of Durban’s local Indian markets mixing Indian and African goods and cultures. 4. Durban Botanical Gardens - Enjoy a guided tour in the oldest surviving Botanical Gardens in Africa. Established in 1849. Day 2 is spent on a full tour of Isimangaliso Wetlands Park. Isimangaliso Wetland is one of the most beautiful places on earth, no wonder it was proclaimed as a World Heritage Site in 1999. iSimangaliso Wetland Park is a huge protected area along the coast of South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal Province. The park’s centerpiece is the vast Lake St. Lucia, home to large numbers of hippos, crocodiles, pelicans and flamingos. Elephants, giraffes and leopards inhabit the grasslands and forests of the nearby Western Shores and Charters Creek areas. After breakfast we embark on a game drive at St Lucia Game Reserve. Here we get to see many different types of animals in their natural habitat. Animals at the game reserve include elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, rhinoceros, zebras, kudus and many more. In late afternoon, embark on a 2 hour Hippo and Croc Boat Cruise in the vast Lake St. Lucia. This is an unforgettable experience not to be missed.
Day 3: Isimangaliso Wetlands Park to Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve

Day 3 is the first of our 2 day tour of Hluhluwe–Imfolozi Game Reserve, the oldest proclaimed nature reserve in Africa. It consists of 960 km² of hilly topography and is known for its rich wildlife and conservation efforts. It is also home to the famous Big 5 and many more animals, birds and plant species. On arrival at Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve, we check into the Hilltop Ezenvelo Camp Resort which is situated inside the Game Reserve. After check – in we immediately go for a game drive.

After breakfast go for a game drive in Tala Private Game Reserve in a 4 x 4 game drive open vehicle. Tala Game Reserve spans some 3,000 hectares, encompassing a mix of acacia thornveld, open grassland and a sensitive wetland, which attracts more than 380 bird species, and plenty of big game, including rhinoceros, kudu, hippo, giraffe, wildebeest, eland and plenty more. Being Malaria-free, with no large predators makes Tala a top-notch choice for families, and holidaymakers seeking a no-frills authentic bush break with the freedom to explore on your terms. After the game drive we depart from Tala Private Game Reserve and head off to Howick Falls.

From Howick Falls we proceed to Nelson Mandela Capture Site which is on a short distance away from Howick Falls. Nelson Mandela was arrested on 5 August 1962 outside of Howick, KZN Natal, South Africa. He spent the next 27 years of his life in prison. The Nelson Mandela Capture Site commemorates this moment in history with a museum and a world renowned sculpture.

Day 6 is a full day tour of the Drakensberg Mountains. After breakfast we embark on a hiking tour as we head to the Mountains. The Drakensberg region is extraordinary, thanks to the dramatically beautiful setting. This region is home to the awe-inspiring mountain range which is predominantly found in the KwaZulu Natal Province. The Drakensberg Mountain range is more than 200 kilometres long and combines rugged peaks with verdant valleys and spectacular backdrops. It creates a natural border between the kingdom of Lesotho and the province of KwaZulu-Natal. We enjoy the bush at the mountains where we encounter many different types of plants, flowers, insects, and a variety of other wildlife. At the mountains we also visit some old bushmen paintings.
