Itinerary
Day 1:
You’ll be personally met by our company representative upon arrival at Entebbe airport, and transfer to your Hotel (Approximately 10-15 minutes’ drive).
Overnight at Hotel No.5 (B&B)
Day 2:
Leave Entebbe after breakfast (8:00) for the fascinating drive through papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the Africa to Kibale National Park just under the Rwenzori Mountains. You will visit Ndali crater lake in the afternoon (Approximately 5-6 hours’ drive).
Meals and overnight at Chimpudu Lodge (FB)
Day 3:
Early morning trek for chimpanzees. Kibale is the best reserve in Africa to view chimps, a thick jungle with a towering canopy. In the afternoon, drive to the south into Queen Elizabeth National Park, sightseeing and game viewing enroot. (Approximately 3-4 hours’ drive).
Meals and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge (FB).
Day 4:
After Breakfast, you will do the dawn morning game drive. The morning is the best time for a game drive as the African Animal Kingdom tends to be most active during the golden hours of first sunlight touching the Savanah. After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel which connects Lakes Edward and George.

Day 5:
After breakfast, drive to Bwindi via the landscape of tea plantations, probably East Africa’s most spectacular scenery, and the highland rain forests which reach to the volcanoes in which live the mountain gorillas. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, you will do cultural experiences in the afternoon. (Approximately 5-6 hours’ drive).

Day 6:
Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 7:30 a.m. with a briefing. Ensure to carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots, etc. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 to 10 hours depending on the gorilla family nearby but it’s well worth the effort.

Day 7:
Return to Kampala in the morning, lunch break is made at Agip Motel Mbarara with stop over at Equator Uganda crossing and Mpambire drum makers for a brief photo opportunity and to shop souvenirs. Transfer to Entebbe for the evening flight back home (Approximately 8-9 hours’ drive).
