Overview

Short on time in Ghent but want to experience Belgian chocolate? This tasting is the perfect introduction to Belgian chocolate. In just 40 minutes, you’ll get to taste chocolate bonbons and single-origin chocolates from three of Belgium’s top artisanal chocolatiers (awarded Gault & Millau Chocolatier of the Year 2019, 2024, and 2025). Learn about their inspiring stories and gain insights into the chocolate-making process from an expert. You’ll also have the chance to try a selection of cacao products, taking you on a journey from the cacao bean to the final bonbon. At the end of the tasting, you'll receive a personalised chocolate visa, making you an official ambassador of Belgian chocolate!”

The tasting takes place in one of Ghent's oldest houses, House de Lelye, dating back to the 16th century, next to the iconic Gravensteen Castle.

Located in Ghent s historic city center, just a stone s throw from the Gravensteen castle and a short 5-minute walk from Graslei & Korenlei (the boat tours), our tasting room is conveniently situated for a day of sightseeing.
