From Morogoro town, this magnificent park lies 33 km. approximately 30-35 minutes drive time. Mikumi National Park, is renowned for its diverse wildlife and scenic landscapes. It covers an area of approximately 3,230 square kilometers and is part of the larger Nyerere (Selous) ecosystem. Visitors to Mikumi can observe a wide array of animals, including large herds of elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and wildebeests.
