4-Day Tour Itinerary: Alice Springs to Uluru
Day 1: Alice Springs to Uluru
Depart from Alice Springs.
Travel over 450 km through the Outback.
Stop at legendary roadhouses: Stuart's Well, Eldunda, and Curtin Springs.
View the Finke River.
Visit Uluru in the afternoon; walk around the base and learn about Tjukurpa (Aboriginal Dreamtime).
Enjoy a magical sunset with snacks provided by Mattia.
Check in at Outback Pioneer or The Lost Camel Hotel (dinner at own expense).
Day 2: Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon
Early breakfast included.
Visit Kata Tjuta: choose between Walpa Gorge (moderate walk) or Valley of the Winds (challenging walk).
Head to Kings Canyon (300 km).
Afternoon creek walk at the base of Kings Canyon.
Lunch at a camel farm.
Visit Mt. Conner and the Salt Lakes.
Overnight stay in a bush tent at Kings Creek Station.
Day 3: Kings Canyon Rim Walk and Mereenie Loop
Early wake-up call; breakfast included.
Kings Canyon Rim Walk (Grade 4/5) or Kathleen Springs for an easier option.
Drive along the Mereenie Loop, enjoying scenic views.
Stop at Gosses Bluff meteorite crater.
Overnight at Glen Helen Resort.
Day 4: West MacDonnell Ranges Exploration
Visit Glen Helen Gorge, Ormiston Gorge, Ellery Creek, Standley Chasm, and Simpson Gap.
Enjoy hikes, stunning lookouts, and possible desert swimming.
Return to Alice Springs in the late afternoon.
