Day 1: Drive from Pokhara to Ulleri and Trek to Ghorepani
As the sun casts its morning glow over Pokhara, we embark on a scenic drive to Ulleri, the starting point of our trek. The journey takes us through picturesque landscapes, winding roads, and charming villages, offering glimpses of rural life in the Himalayas. Upon reaching Ulleri, we begin our trek, ascending through lush forests and stone steps, immersing ourselves in the beauty of the Annapurna region. Our destination for the day is Ghorepani, perched at an elevation of 2,840 meters. As we arrive in Ghorepani, the crisp mountain air and panoramic views of the surrounding peaks welcome us to this mountain sanctuary, setting the stage for an unforgettable adventure ahead.
Day 2: Poon Hill Sunrise and Trek To Tadapani
Rise before dawn to catch the first light illuminating the snow-capped peaks from the vantage point of Poon Hill at 3,210 meters. The panoramic sunrise vista is nothing short of awe-inspiring, painting the sky with hues of pink, orange, and gold. After soaking in this breathtaking sight, we trek onwards to Tadapani at 2,630 meters. The trail meanders through rhododendron forests alive with the chirping of birds, offering moments of serenity and tranquility.
Day 3: Trek to Ghandruk and Drive Back to Pokhara
Our final day begins with a leisurely trek to Ghandruk, a charming Gurung village rich in culture and tradition. The terraced fields and stone houses adorned with colorful prayer flags create a postcard-perfect scene against the backdrop of the towering Himalayas. We take our time exploring the village, interacting with locals, and immersing ourselves in their way of life. As the afternoon sun begins to wane, we bid farewell to Ghandruk and embark on a scenic drive back to Pokhara, reminiscing about the unforgettable moments and memories created during our mountain adventure.
