Start by making your way through an ancient monastic complex in the Goreme Valley carved out of a mountainās living stone. These famous churches were one of the most important centers of early Christianity. Then attend a ceramics workshop and learn about the red clay that made this region a famous for its pottery production.
The next day itās on to the Derinkuyu Underground City, a spectacular complex of underground and partially-subterranean dwellings, stables, and a majestic cathedral, all carved directly into the soft sandstone.
