Early in the morning we will be standing in front of the only remaining ancient wonder of the world, the Great Pyramids of Giza!

Visiting the Sphinx is an amazing experience. This giant statue, with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, has stood by the Pyramids in Giza for thousands of years. It’s one of Egypt’s most famous landmarks, and seeing it up close is like stepping back in time to ancient Egypt.

Saqqara is an ancient burial ground in Egypt, best known for the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest stone pyramid in the world. Located near Cairo, Saqqara served as a necropolis for the ancient capital, Memphis, and is home to tombs, pyramids, and beautifully decorated burial chambers. Visiting Saqqara offers a fascinating look into early Egyptian architecture and art, showcasing the evolution of pyramid construction and the grandeur of ancient Egyptian civilization.

Visiting the Old Egyptian Museum in Cairo is a journey into ancient history. The museum holds thousands of treasures, including the famous golden mask of King Tutankhamun. Walking through its halls, you’ll see statues, jewelry, and artifacts from ancient Egypt, making it an unforgettable experience for anyone interested in Egypt’s past.

Visiting Khan al-Khalili, Cairo’s famous bazaar, is like stepping into a lively, colorful world filled with history. This market has been around for hundreds of years and is full of shops selling spices, jewelry, traditional crafts, and souvenirs. Strolling through its narrow alleys, you’ll experience the vibrant atmosphere of Egyptian culture and can even stop for tea at one of the traditional cafes.

The Saladin Citadel in Cairo is a grand fortress with stunning views of the city. Built by Sultan Saladin in the 12th century to protect Cairo from invaders, it’s now home to historic mosques, museums, and beautiful architecture. One of its highlights is the impressive Mosque of Muhammad Ali, known for its grand domes and intricate designs. Visiting the Citadel offers a glimpse into Egypt's rich history and incredible cityscape views.

Today we visit the High Dam, an engineering wonder built in the 1960s that tames the mighty Nile, providing power and protection against floods.

Then we continue to the Temple of Isis on Philae Island, a beautiful sanctuary dedicated to the goddess of love and magic, used to be surrounded by clear waters.

Lastly we visit the Unfinished Obelisk, a colossal monument left partially carved in bedrock, giving a rare glimpse into ancient Egyptian stonework techniques.

We continue sailing to the unique double Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to both Sobek and Horus , where you’ll explore beautifully symmetrical architecture and view fascinating artifacts, including mummified crocodiles.

Today our boat sails to Edfu, where we visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples, where towering walls and intricate carvings.

Karnak Temple is a vast and awe-inspiring complex that stands as a tribute to ancient Egyptian civilization. Known as the largest religious site ever built, Karnak’s towering columns, grand halls, and sacred lake are filled with intricate carvings that tell the stories of powerful pharaohs and gods. Walk through the iconic Hypostyle Hall, marvel at the giant obelisks, and experience the incredible history

Luxor Temple by night is a mesmerizing experience as the entire temple is beautifully illuminated, casting a golden glow over its ancient columns and statues, intricately carved walls come to life under the lights, creating a magical and almost mystical atmosphere. Walking through Luxor Temple at night feels like stepping back in time, surrounded by the echoes of Egypt’s ancient history.

The Valley of the Kings is an extraordinary ancient burial site, hidden in the rugged desert cliffs of Luxor. Home to the tombs of Egypt’s greatest pharaohs, this valley reveals richly decorated chambers adorned with vibrant wall paintings and intricate hieroglyphics.

The Temple of Hatshepsut is a magnificent masterpiece carved into the limestone cliffs on Luxor’s West Bank, standing as a tribute to Egypt’s most powerful female pharaoh. This terraced temple, with its elegant design and striking symmetry, rises in three grand levels connected by sweeping ramps that guide visitors from one breathtaking terrace to the next. Each terrace is lined with rows of impressive columns and adorned with intricate carvings and vivid reliefs depicting the life, achievements, and divine lineage of Queen Hatshepsut.

The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues near Luxor, standing as ancient guards to the mortuary temple of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Each statue is about 18 meters (59 feet) tall and over 3,000 years old. Though the temple behind them has mostly disappeared, the statues remain an iconic sight and a testament to ancient Egyptian artistry and engineering.
